Kiswah original painting and transformative — a reminderThe final piece in my Remembrance Collection Kiswah The Kiswah is a black brocade cloth that covers the Kabah, which is the most sacred shrine in Islam. Every year a new Kiswah is made in Egypt and carried to Mecca by pilgrims. The Shahadah (profession of faith) is embroidered in gold on the Kiswah as well as a gold band of ornamental calligraphy carrying verses from the Quran.
