This etching was created in 2020 and forms part of a series of atmospheric miniature etchings of spaces around Anja's home town of Durham

because I cannot bear to thin them out earlier in the growing season

somewhere where they can be quite alone with the heavens

and noticed how the seed heads of the fennel and purple toadflax were shining so brightly against the shadows on the lawn
